4 Lady Eagles Named to AMC All-Conference Lists

Columbia, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the 2023 AMC Women's Basketball All-Conference Teams, Season Award Winners, Academic All-Conference Team and the AMC Women's Basketball Champions of Character Team.

Kaylee Clark was named First Team All-Conference after averaging 19.8 ppg and shooting 43.1% from the field. 

Reesa Hampton was named Honorable Mention after averaging 5.6 ppg and shooting 30.9% from the three-point line. She finished with 108 assists on the year and an assist to turnover ratio of 1.9. 

Tristan Richards was named Honorable Mention after 11.9 ppg, shooting 46.8% from the field and averaging 5.0 rebounds per game. 

Monica Horne was named Honorable Mention after 9.0 ppg, shooting 50.6% from the field and 8.4 rebounds per game. 

The Champions of Character selection is a player that best exemplifies the NAIA Five Core Values of Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, Integrity and Servant Leadership, and this year's player from Williams is Reesa Hampton. 

The AMC also announced their Academic All-Conference team, of which 14 Lady Eagles were represented: Zahryia Baker, Destiny Clark, Carson Defries, Danielle Shepard, Kaylee Clark, Reesa Hampton, Monica Horne, Tristan Richards, Makala Clayton, Zaelin Morris, Amanda Nelson, Sidney Wire, Hailey Carr, and Maura Thomason. 

The Lady Eagles kick off the AMC Tournament today with their quarterfinal matchup against Stephens College. The tournament is being hosted by Columbia College this year and tip-off is scheduled for 5:15 p.m.
