Bledsoe Tabbed AMC Pitcher of the Week

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (2/9/26) – Williams Baptist University baseball right-handed pitcher Ben Bledsoe earned American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week honors after leading WBU to a win in its first game of the season, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Bledsoe tossed six shutout innings and fanned five in his first start of the season to lead WBU to a 3-0 win over Trinity Christian on Friday afternoon.  

The Charleston, Mo. native allowed just two hits and one walk en route to his first career win as an Eagle.  

Bledsoe and the Eagles return home for a four-game set against Blue Mountain Christian on Feb. 12-13.  First pitch of game one against the Toppers on Thursday is set for noon from Shell Field.
