Blue Raider's Second Half Surge Sinks Eagles

PULASKI, Tenn. - The Eagles fell victim to a second-half surge from the Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders and lost 78-68 on Saturday afternoon at the Martin Methodist Classic.

Williams held their own in the first half, even ending up going into the break up one, but Lindsey Wilson came out strong in the second half and out scored the Eagles by 11.

The Eagles had three players in double figures: Cortez King (SR/Chicago, Ill.) led the way with 19 pts, Shackeel Butters (SR/Freeport, Bahamas) had 17 pts, and Brayden Brewer (SR/Piggott, Ark.) had 10.

Brian Davis (SR/Chicago, Ill.) led the squad on the boards with 9.

Lindsey Wilson's Elijah Jordan led all scorers with 25 pts.
