It was a close, tense game for the Eagles against the Buffaloes on their home court. Williams jumped out to a 9-0 lead off of back-to-back-to-back threes from Tyreon "Duke" Hardin and King. The Buffaloes scratched their way back to tie the game at 20 with 6:30 minutes left in the first half. From there it was back-and-forth until half, which saw the Eagles down by one.
Williams comes out of halftime on a 10-3 run to take a five point lead and never trailed the rest of the game. The Eagles would eventually lead by as many as 16, but Arkansas Baptist wittled that down to seven with 1:22 left in the game after knocking down a three. From there, the Buffaloes had to keep fouling the Eagles to stop the clock, sending them to the free-throw line. The Eagles went 5-6 at the charity strip in the last minute of the game to put it away.
King's double-double consisted of 11 points and 10 rebounds, while McIntosh's was 13 points nad 10 rebounds.
Hardin had 18 points to lead all scorers, while Shackeel Butters and Braxton Haff were also in double figures with 10.
