Eagles Conclude Play at Columbia Cougar Classic

Williams Baptist University golfer Kendra Harness finished seventh, while Tyler Parr finished eighth as the Eagles concluded play at the Columbia Cougar Classic on Tuesday.

Harness turned in back-to-back scores of 81-81 to finish the tournament with a 162 in the largest tournament field that Williams has competed in this fall. Grace Woody finished 28th after a two-day total of 183 (93-91), while Leslie Hill was 29th with a total of 186 (92-94).

Parr helped lead WBU to a sixth place finish in the men's tournament after carding rounds of 72-75 for a total of 147. As a team the Eagles shot 618 (307-311) after solid efforts from Parr and others on the week.

Thibau DeLange finished 28th after a two-day total of 156 (81-75), while Dawson McMahan and Quinn Crosskno finished in a tie for 34th. McMahan carded rounds of 80-78 to finish with a 158, while Crosskno had rounds of 79-79 for his 158. Carrington Reid tied for 44th after a 161 (80-81).

Williams returns to the links Oct. 16-17 for the Freed-Hardeman Invitational in Henderson, Tenn.
