Eagles Place Third in Scots Fall Classic
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (10/1/25) – The Williams Baptist University men's golf team posted a third place finish at the Scots Fall Classic hosted by Lyon College at Eagle Mountain Golf Club earlier this week.
Jack Pierce led the way for the team with a fourth place finish on a two-round score of 148. Curren Bounds followed up with another top-ten performance on a total card of 149 to end up in seventh place overall.
Grant Wilson ended the event with a total score of 155 to finish in 25th place. Kaleb McClain and Ian Ellison rounded out the team each with a two-round total of 156 to place 28th in the event.
Cameron Jackson played the event as an individual and carded a final score of 150 to finish in 10th place.
As a team, Williams finished third of nine teams in the event with a final team score of 604.
The Eagles will return to action on Oct. 6-7 for the MBU Fall Invitational in Alton, Ill. hosted by Missouri Baptist.
