The Williams Baptist University men's soccer team fell to Louisiana Christian University 1-0 on Monday afternoon.
The lone score of the game was a goal from Louisiana Christian's Thiago Lopes in the 31st minute.
Jacobo Obradors put a shot on goal in the 15th minute, but LCU goalkeeper Rodrigo Silva made the stop on the reigning AMC Player of the Week. Jacob Doehman had another strike on tarter in the 51st first, but Silva was in position for the stop again.
The Eagles put up 12 shots in the game, three of which were on goal.
Rodrigo Pina played all 90 minutes of the game. Pina saved 7 shots in the close loss.
The Eagles will be back in action Saturday, Sept. 9 for a road contest against Blue Mountain Christian (MS) at 3 p.m.
