Obradors Tabbed AMC Offensive Player of the Week
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (10/21/24) – After scoring five goals in two games, Williams Baptist University striker Jacobo Obradors was named the American Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the ninth week of the season, the league office announced Monday.
On Saturday, Obradors tallied four goals in the first half of an 8-0 win over UHSP. The Madrid, Spain native leads the AMC in goals with 13 so far on the season.
Obradors played a large part in two blowout wins for the Eagles last week, scoring the first of seven Eagle goals on Tuesday against Mission.
His 60 career goals is the most scored by an Eagle in program history. Obradors became the first Eagle with 50 goals in a career back in September.
WBU will return to the pitch on Tuesday, Oct. 22 on the road against Central Baptist. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. from Conway, Ark.
