Lee, Cisneros Named AMC Players of the Week

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark.  (9/8/25) – Williams Baptist University men's soccer players Harry Lee and Marco Cisneros swept the American Midwest Conference Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week Awards for week three of the season, the league announced on Monday afternoon.

Harry Lee was named AMC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal in WBU's home-opening win over Texas A&M-Texarkana on Sep. 1.  The score gave Williams the win in its home opener for the seventh season in a row.

Marco Cisneros earned Player of the Week honors on the defensive side after making 11 saves over two matches, including nine saves against No. 15 LSU Shreveport to lift the Eagles to a draw.  The Jonesboro, Ark. native also put up a clean sheet against Texas A&M-Texarkana in the home opener to lead Williams to an undefeated week.

Lee, Cisneros, and the Eagles will return to the pitch on Saturday, Sep. 13 at home against (RV) John Brown.  Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. from the WBU Soccer Field.
