Eagles Drop Road Tilt With No. 24 Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (9/16/25) – The Williams Baptist University men's soccer team fell by the final score of 2-0 to No. 24 Oklahoma City at Brian Harvey Field on Tuesday afternoon.

As a team, WBU was out-shot 12-8 and landed just one on target.  Marco Cisneros made two saves in goal for the Eagles in 90 minutes between the posts.

OCU got on the board in the 25th minute with a goal from Thomas Brulay and took the lead into halftime.  After the break, Mateus Ribeiro had a chance to tie the match with a shot on in the 52nd minute, but the OCU keeper saved the chance.

The Stars put the game out of reach with a score from Xaiden Easter in the 82nd minute to secure the 2-0 win.

The loss drops Williams to 2-4-1 on the season.  The Eagles return home on Saturday, Sep. 20 to face (RV) Bethel (TN).  Kick-off is set for 2 p.m. from the WBU Soccer Field.
