Shive Earns All-American Honors to Highlight Eagles Trip at NAIA Nationals

COLUMBUS, Ga. - Kaleb Shive finished sixth in the 100 backstroke to earn All-American honors and lead Williams at the NAIA National Swim Meet over the last three days.

Over the course of three days, Williams swimmers competed in individual events and team relay races at the NAIA National Swim meet. Szymon Gilzynski finished in 16th place in the 100 butterfly.  Shive, Gilzynski, and Josh McClain competed in other individual events, but didn't qualify for the finals after swimming in the preliminaries. 

Shive, Jonathan Santibanez, Gilzynski, and McClain competed in the 400 medley relay and finished in 10th place. They also competed in the 200 medley relay and finished in 11th place. 

Shive, McClain, Santibanez, and Hayden Vernon competed in the 400 freestyle relay and finished in 20th place.
