Eagles Swim Competed at Sam Freas Invite

EDMOND, Okla. - This past Saturday, the Williams men's & women's swimming teams competed at the Sam Freas Invite hosted by Oklahoma Christian.

Here are the results for the men's side:

• 14th place in the 200 yd medley relay in 1:51.12 (Josh McClain, Eric Burns, Henry Vernon, Esteban Gonzalez)
• 15th in 200 yd freestyle relay in 1:39.87 (Vernon, Gonzalez, Burns, McClain)
• Eric Burns - 14th place in the 200 yd freestyle (2:01.27); 7th place in the 500 yd freestyle (5:58.40)
• Henry Vernon - 12th in the 100 yd breaststroke (1:06.93); 11th in 100 yd butterfly (56.43)
• Esteban Gonzalez - 14th in 100 yd breaststroke (1:30.37); 16th in 50 yd freestyle (27.32)
• Josh McClain - 7th in 50 yd freestyle (22.33); 10th in 100 yd butterfly (56.16)

Here are the results for the women's side:

• Kyla Bethell - 11th in the 100 yd breaststroke (1:20.85); 18th in 200 yd breaststroke (3:07.37)
• Lizzy Broussard - 10th in 200 yd butterfly (2:33.30); 16th in 100 yd IM (1:12.05)
• Hanna Rushin - 22nd in 50 yd freestyle (34.66)
