Eagles Finish 3rd at AMC Championships, Le Named Freshman of the Year

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Williams men's track and field team finished in third place at the AMC Championships with a score of 109.50. This is the most points ever scored at the meet for Williams and the highest ever finish for the Eagles. 

After the meet, Quy Le was named the AMC Freshman of the Year.

The Eagles had multiple top five finishes at the meet:

• Ryan Moshinsky - 5th in high jump (1.70m)
• Nick Powell - 4th in triple jump (11.94m), 4th in 400m dash (52.44)
• Jacob Whittle - 5th in javelin (37.60m), 3rd in 400m dash (52.41)
• Tucker Coleman - 2nd in shot put (13.38m)
• Quy Le - 1st in 100m dash (11.25), 4th in 200m dash (23.36)
• Ralph Iweriebor - 4th in 100m dash (11.67), 3rd in 200m dash (23.21)
• Gunner Shell - 5th in 3000m steeplechase (11:06.62)
• Gage Blankenship - 2nd in 5000m race walk (36:34.72)
• Le, Powell, Whittle, Iweriebor - 1st in 4x100m relay (43.99)
• Powell, Byron Lewis, Iweriebor, Whittle - 1st in 4x400m relay (3:30.85)
• Caleb Anderson, Shell, Powell, Whittle - 3rd in 4x800m relay (8:38.84)
