Eagles Go 2-2 at AMC/SAC Duals

BATESVILLE, Ark. - The Williams wrestling team went 2-2 this past Saturday at the AMC/SAC Duals. They defeated Wayland Baptist and Jarvis Christian, while falling to Missouri Baptist and Oklahoma City.

Missouri Baptist - WBU

The Eagles lost to the Spartans 30-20. Gatlin Taylor (125) and Ross Womack (149) gained points via forfeits. Jonathan Vizcarrondo (165) defeated his opponent by a TF 19-3. Kade Carter (174) defeated his opponent by a 3-0 decision. 

Oklahoma City - WBU

The Eagles lost to Oklahoma City 40-12. The only Eagles' points came via forfeits.

WBU - Wayland Baptist

The Eagles defeated Wayland Baptist 45-9. Taylor (125) defeated his opponent by a fall. Isaiah Vizcarrondo (141) defeated his opponent by a fall. Alzarius Boykins (157) defeated his opponent by a fall. Jonathan Vizcarrondo (165) defeated his opponent by a 7-3 decision. Womack (149), Carter (184), Micah Oltmanns (197), and Kendric Gordon (285) all gained points via forfeits. 

WBU - Jarvis Christian

The Eagles defeated Jarvis Christian 42-17. Taylor (125), Robert Fairchild (133), Isaiah Vizcarrondo (141), Boykins (157), Carter (174), Oltmanns (184), and Gordon (197) all gained points via forfeits.
