Garner, Busselle Named to AMC All-Tournament Team

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (5/6/25) – Williams Baptist University softball players Morgan Garner and Madyson Busselle were named to the American Midwest Conference Softball All-Tournament team for their performances in the 2025 AMC Tournament, the league office announced on Monday.

Garner led the way in the circle for the Lady Eagles, pitching to the tune of a 1.91 ERA through 18.1 innings with eight strikeouts.  Garner threw a one-run complete game in WBU's 2-1 win over Stephens, and picked up the save after a scoreless three innings against Columbia.

Busselle collected seven hits for a .538 AVG over the four games with no strikeouts.  She was instrumental in WBU's 6-5 win over Columbia, going 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored.

The All-Tournament Team is selected by the eight tournament-qualifying coaches.
