Busselle, Caldwell Named to NFCA NAIA All-Region Teams
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (5/23/25) – Williams Baptist University softball players Madyson Busselle and Emberlin Caldwell were each named to National Fastpitch Coaches Association NAIA All-Region Teams, the association announced on Friday afternoon.
Madyson Busselle was named First Team Region 1 at the shortstop position. The junior from Bald Knob, Ark. posted a .453 AVG with 45 RBI. Busselle also blasted 5 home runs to only five strikeouts in 48 games for the Lady Eagles.
Emberlin Caldwell was named to the Second Team as a pitcher. The Van Buren, Ark. native twirled a 2.24 ERA in 131.1 innings pitched with 115 strikeouts. The sophomore went 13-8 in the circle with a save in 22 starts.
Both players were named NFCA All-Region selections in 2024, and Busselle was named an NFCA All-American a season ago.
Busselle and Caldwell move on for consideration for the NFCA NAIA All-American teams, which will be announced by the NFCA on Thursday, June 5.
