Caldwell, Foster Named to NFCA NAIA All-Region Teams
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (5/22/26) – Williams Baptist University softball players Emberlin Caldwell and Addison Foster were named NFCA NAIA All-Region players, the NFCA announced Friday afternoon.
The awards honor student-athletes from the Association's six NAIA regions with selection to one of two teams. NFCA-member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region.
Caldwell earned First Team All-Region honors in the circle. The Van Buren, Ark., native put up a career low 2.03 ERA in 186.2 innings pitched with a 22-7 record in the circle. Caldwell punched out 135 hitters in her third consecutive 110+ strikeout season.
Foster was named to the All-Region Second Team after a monstrous freshman season where she set a new WBU record for home runs in a season with 15 longballs. The Fort Smith, Ark., product slashed .351/.422/.626 with 53 RBI's on the campaign.
All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the two NFCA NAIA All-America teams, which will be announced June 4.
