Three Eagles Named to CSC Softball Academic All-District Team

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (5/26/26)  – Williams Baptist University softball had three student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.

Madyson Busselle, Emberlin Caldwell, and Kaelyn Gooch were recognized for their performances on the field and in the classroom during the Lady Eagles' 2026 AMC championship season.

The CSC Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.  To qualify for the award, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of scheduled games or start in at least 66 percent of scheduled games as a position player, or make 17 appearances or pitch 35 innings as a pitcher, as well as maintain a 3.50 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
