Lady Eagles Land Three in Top Five to Win WBU Fall Invitational

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark.  (9/17/25) – The Williams Baptist University women's golf team took home top honors at the WBU Fall Invitational at Kennett Country Club this week behind a program-best round by the team.

The Lady Eagles shot a program-low 678 through two rounds, including another program-low 334 in its second round of play to finish first in the event, 19 strokes ahead of second place Hendrix.

Katie Fish took home her first collegiate tournament win in her first event as an Eagle.  The Salem, Ark. native carded a two round total of 159 to take home top honors.

Kendra Harness finished just one stroke behind her teammate with a two-round total of 160 to take second place in the tournament.  Grace Woody also put up a top-five finish, carding a 167 through two rounds to finish fourth.

Gabi Harmon rounded out the squad in 13th place with a two-round score of 192.

Next, WBU will travel to Batesville, Ark. to compete in the Lyon College Invitational at Eagle Mountain Golf Club on Sep. 29-30.
