Woody, Harness Lead WBU in MBU Fall Invitational

ALTON, Ill. (10/8/25) – The Williams Baptist University women's golf team finished in third place out of six teams at the MBU Fall Invitational hosted by Missouri Baptist University this week.

Grace Woody and Kendra Harness led the Lady Eagles in the event, each tying at fifth place with a two-round total of 166.  Harness climbed two spots on the second day to move into the top-five, while Woody held her position after shooting an 82 in her first round.

Katie Fish finished in 13th place with a two-round card of 174, and Gabi Harmon rounded out the squad in 28th place with a final score of 219.

Williams out-placed the other three American Midwest Conference teams in attendance with a total score of 725.  

The Lady Eagles will be back in action to wrap up the fall slate on Oct. 13-14 at the CBC Fall Invitational, hosted by Central Baptist in Maumelle, Ark.
