Lady Eagles Post Big Day Two in Spring Opener

COLUMBIA, Mo. (3/11/26) – The Williams Baptist University women's golf team opened up its spring schedule at the Columbia College Spring Invitational at Columbia Country Club this week.

Williams finished 5th in the event with a total team score of 667, within six strokes of second place Lincoln with a 661 finish.  Event host Columbia won the tournament with a final score of 643.

Mariana Bonilla led the way for the Lady Eagles in her WBU debut, finishing tied for fifth with a two-round score of 156.  Bonilla rose four spots on day two with a 75 in her second round of play.

Kendra Harness followed close behind tied for seventh with a total score of 159.  Grace Woody was WBU's biggest riser on day two as she climbed seven spots to finish in the top-10 with a 165 across her two rounds.

Katie Fish finished the event tied for 26th with a stroke total of 187.  Gabi Harmon rounded out the squad in 39th place.

WBU will be back in action next Monday, March 16 at the CBC Spring Invitational at Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot, Ark.
