Souers Named AMC Offensive Player of the Week

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark.  (9/15/25) – Williams Baptist University women's soccer sophomore Mackenzie Souers was named American Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week after a stellar performance in week four of the season.

Souers earned the honor after scoring two goals in WBU's 4-1 win over Lyon on Wednesday.  Both of her shots in the game found the back of the net to give the Paragould, Ark. native the first multi-score game of her career.

Souers has the second highest goal total for WBU on the season with five scores.  She is tied for the third most goals in the AMC.

Souers and the Lady Eagles will return to the pitch on Tuesday, Sep. 16 on the road against the Stars of Oklahoma City.  Kick-off from Brian Harvey Field in Oklahoma City is set for 3:30 p.m.
