OKLAHOMA CITY (9/16/25) – The Williams Baptist University women's soccer team dropped its road matchup with Oklahoma City by the final score of 5-1 at Brian Harvey Field on Saturday.
As a team, WBU was out-shot 31-4 in the contest. Williams landed one shot on goal in the match.
The lone Williams score came from Valentina Marin in the 66th minute with an assist from Chloe Flores. The goal cut the OCU lead to 4-1 at the time.
The Stars overwhelmed the Williams defense to secure the win, scoring twice in the first half and three times in the second. Nevaeh Larkins and Lisa Craig combined for 11 saves between the sticks for WBU.
The loss drops the Lady Eagles to 6-2 on the season. Williams will return home for the first of three consecutive home games on Saturday, Sep. 20 to face the Wildcats of Bethel (TN). Kick off is slated for noon from the WBU Soccer Field.
