Eagles Swim Win Principia College Dual

ELSAH, Ill. - The Williams men's & women's swimming teams brought home the gold against Principia College in their dual meet on Saturday.

Williams came in 1st in the mixed 200 yd relay with a time of 2:00.55, 1st in the mixed 200 yd freestyle relay (1:48.16); 1st in the mixed 200 yd kick board relay (2:47.58); 1st in the mixed 400 yd freestyle relay (4:09.19)

On the women's side:

• Kyla Bethell - 1st in 100 yd breaststroke (1:22.39); 2nd in 50 yd freestyle (29.49); 3rd in 100 yd freestyle (1:11.71); 1st in 200 yd breaststroke (3:05.18);
• Lizzy Broussard - 1st in 200 yd butterfly (2:41.26); 1st in 200 yd IM (2:34.83); 1st in 100 yd butterfly (1:08.84); 1st in 500 yd freestyle (6:09.32)

On the men's side: 

• Eric Burns - 1st in the 200 yd freestyle (2:01.06); 1st in 1000 yd freestyle (12:24.37); 2nd in 400 yd IM (5:09.74); 1st in 500 yd freestyle (5:40.24)
• Henry Vernon - 1st in the 100 yd breaststroke (1:06.60); 2nd in 200 yd IM (2:10.57); 1st in 400 yd IM (4:46.93); 1st in 100 yd butterfly (55.28)
• Esteban Gonzalez - 3rd in 100 yd breaststroke (1:29.83); 2nd in 50 yd freestyle (28.05); 1st in 200 yd breaststroke (3:18.69); 2nd in 500 yd freestyle (6:44.49)
• Josh McClain - 1st in 50 yd freestyle (22.24); 1st in 200 yd IM (2:09.54); 1st in 100 yd freestyle (49.11); 2nd in 100 yd butterfly (1:04.03)
