Eagles Track & Field Competes At CMU Invite

FAYETTE, Mo. - The Williams men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Central Methodist Invite this past Friday and Saturday. The women finished in seventh place out of 18 teams, while the men finished tied for 10th out of 21 teams.

There were several Eagles who had top 10 finishes. 

Women: 

• Hannah Baker - 6th in hammer throw (39.19m) , 10th in shot put (10.50m)
• Allyson Marlow - 5th in pole vault (2.58m) [School Record], 6th in triple jump (9.88m)
• Danielle Barstead - 10th in pole vault (2.13m)
• Mikey Larson, Emma Shaw, Ali Ward & Hope Cram - 2nd in 4x800m (10:50.07) [School Record]
• Kaylee Clark - 6th in high jump (1.50m) [School Record]
• Emily Weiss - 8th in high jump (1.45m)
• Tamia Dandridge - 5th in triple jump (10.16m)
• Amy McMorris - 3rd in 5000m race walk (34:29.20) [School Record]
• Mikey Larson, Emily Weiss, Danielle Barstead, and Ali Ward - 7th in 4x400 (4:36.33) [School Record]

Men:

• Tucker Coleman - 10th in hammer throw (37.41m), 6th in shot put (13.28m) [School Record], 7th in discus (37.97m) [School Record]
• Jacob Whittle - 10th in javelin (39.70m), 10th in triple jump (11.42m)
• Ryan Moshinsky - 7th in high jump (1.70m)
• Eli Callicott - 10th in high jump (1.65m)
• Gage Blankenship - 3rd in 5000m racewalk (34:30.63)

Mikey Larson also finished in 14th place in the 1500m with a time of 5:24.14 to set a new school record. Zaelin Morris finished in 16th place in the 100m hurdles in 19.40 to set a new school record.
