Lady Eagles Defeat Stephens in Four Sets

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. - The Williams Baptist volleyball team defeated the Stephens College Stars on Saturday afternoon in four sets, 25-21, 12-25, 25-19, 25-18. With the win, the Lady Eagles move to 7-12 overall and 2-6 in conference play.

The Lady Eagles were firing on all cylindars in the match, outside of the second set when the Stars went on two lenghty runs to win the set.

Molly Henson (SO/Wynne, Ark.) led the squad with 12 kills, followed by Monica Guerrero (SR/Teague, Texas) with 10.

Elaine Blackmon (FR/Mountain Home, Ark.) led the team with 18 digs.

Sydney Burgin (FR/Walnut Ridge, Ark.) led the team with 21 assists.
