Raymond Tabbed AMC Defender of the Week

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (10/6/25) – Williams Baptist University volleyball senior Hope Raymond was named the American Midwest Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week for week seven of the season, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Raymond posted 76 total digs across four matches for the Lady Eagles last week, including a season-high of 26 against Cottey on Friday.  She also collected 107 serve receptions with a high of 38 against Mission.

The Gideon, Mo. native is tied for the AMC lead in digs with 252 on the season.  She recently moved into second place on the WBU career digs leaderboard with a career total of 1,125.

Raymond and the Lady Eagles will return to the court on Tuesday, Oct. 7 on the road against Freed-Hardeman.  The match is set for a 6 p.m. start time from Brewer Sport Center in Henderson, Tenn.
