Lady Eagles Fall In Season Finale

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (11/6/25) – The Williams Baptist University volleyball team lost in its final match of the 2025 season against Crowley's Ridge by the final score of 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 25-19) inside the Southerland-Mabee Center on Thursday night.

Tinleigh Ruhman led the Eagles attack with seven kills on a .222 hitting percentage, Faith Raymond led on the back row with eight digs, and Desirae Walker put up nine assists. 

As a team, WBU posted 17 kills, 17 assists, and 26 digs in the contest.

A 9-3 opening run gave Crowley's Ridge an early lead in the first set.  WBU rattled off a 4-1 run to cut the lead to nine late, but CRC took the first set 25-14.  

The Pioneers kept their foot on the gas by taking the first seven points of the second set, but the Lady Eagles stormed back after a Natalie Collier kill made it 12-10, but CRC put up a 7-1 run to get back in front and take the second set.

Down 18-10 in the third, WBU went on a 9-2 run to cut the lead to 20-18.  Despite the comeback, The Pioneers ended the match after taking the final four points.
