Creggett Named WBU Volleyball Assistant Coach

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (7/27/26)  – The Williams Baptist University volleyball program has announced the addition of Jade Creggett as assistant coach, head volleyball coach Justin Dee announced on Monday.

Creggett joins Williams after serving as an assistant volleyball coach and head freshman coach at Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas, where she helped develop athletes, strengthen fundamentals, and prepare players for the next level of competition.

"We are extremely excited to welcome Jade into our program this season," said head coach Justin Dee.  "Her passion for developing student-athletes and commitment to building strong relationships make her a perfect fit for what we are building here at WBU.  I cannot wait to see the impact she makes on our student-athletes."

She also worked as a coach for Airells Courts Club Volleyball between 2020 and 2023, where she coached various teams at the elementary and middle school levels.

Prior to her coaching career, Creggett spent four years playing volleyball at Philander Smith University in Little Rock, Ark.  As a Panther, Creggett earned an All-Conference Honorable Mention award.

Guided by her Christian faith, Creggett leads with integrity, humility, and purpose, values that align closely with the mission of Williams Baptist University. She is committed to mentoring student-athletes and developing strong leaders both on and off the court.

Creggett will also work as the head junior varsity coach at WBU.

Creggett graduated from Philander Smith University with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education in 2022.
