Offense Explodes As Eagles Down Toppers

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. - The Williams soccer team defeated the Blue Mountain College Toppers 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.

It took the Eagles most of the first half to settle into a rhythm offensively, but they were able to finally find the back of the net in the 38th minute when Lucas Camilo scored the opener off a pass from Adrian Briceno. Daniel Oliveira doubled the lead for the Eagles just three minutes later when he slotted home a pass from Camilo.

The Eagles really controlled the second half as they scored four goals. Jacobo Obradors scored the third goal of the game with an assist from Ivan Perez in the 52nd. Alfonso Madrigal added the fourth goal six minutes later. Gabriel Otero scored the last two games: the first off a pass from Ismael Aguero in the 79th minute and the second goal coming just forty seconds later.

Alejandro Perez played the full game in goal for the Eagles and finished with two saves.
