Lady Eagles Split Saturday Doubleheader With Centenary College

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. - The Williams volleyball team split their doubleheader on Saturday with Centenary College. The Lady Eagles took the first game 3-1, while Centenary took the second game 3-1.

Game One

Williams came out on a roll in the first set and won 25-11. They continued their momentum into the second set to win 25-19. The Ladies found some momentum of their own and won the third set 25-22. The Lady Eagles regained their composure and took the fourth set 25-17 to win the game. 

Molly Henson led the team with 10 kills. Sydney Burgin had 18 assists, while Laykin Harkcom had 14. Hope Raymond had 18 digs, Faith Raymond had 13, and Henson had 11. 

Game Two

The Lady Eagles carried on their good play into the first set of the second game and won 25-21. However, the Ladies kicked their play up a notch and took the next three sets: 25-16, 25-18, and 25-23 to win the match. 

Henson again had 10 kills to lead the team. Harkcom finished with 16 assists, while Burgin had 11. Hope Raymond had 15 digs, while Faith Raymond had 11.
