BATESVILLE, Ark. - The Williams women's basketball team left Batesville with an 86-79 win over the Lyon College Scots on Tuesday night.
It was a close game for much of the game, with the Lady Eagles outscoring the Scots by two points in every quarter except the first, when Williams outscored Lyon by one.
Williams shot 44.8% from the field (30-67), 41.7% from the three-point line (10-24), and 69.6% from the free-throw line (16-23).
Monica Horne notched her eighth double-double of the season with a team-high 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Reesa Hampton had a season-high 19 points after knocking down five three-pointers. Kaylee Clark also finished with 19 points, while Tristan Richards had 11.
Italei Gray finished seven assists.
