Clark Named AMC Player of the Week
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (1/29/24) - Williams Baptist junior forward Kaylee Clark has named the American Midwest Conference Women's Player of the Week after back-to-back 20-plus point performances as the Lady Eagles picked up a pair of victories over Missouri Baptist and Williams Woods last week to stay in the hunt for the top spot in the regular season title.
Clark scored 23 points, including five 3-pointers in WBU's 80-65 victory over the Spartans on Thursday night. She played all 40 minutes in the contest and also grabbed three rebounds while also filling out the box score one steal, block and assist each.
On Saturday against Williams Woods she finished with 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting and added six rebounds as the Eagles cruised to a 82-48 victory. She did all of her damage in just 25 minutes of work and had outscored the Owls' entire team (23-15) at halftime.

Williams finished the month of January with a 9-1 record and is currently on a three-game win streak. They are third in the AMC conference standings with a 7-2 record (14-4 overall) and trail Columbia and Stephens for first place who both are 9-1 in the league.
