Ellis Dubbed AMC Offensive Player of the Week
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (1/19/26) – Williams Baptist University women's basketball senior Cha'Myrean Ellis earned American Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for week 11 of the season, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.
Ellis led the way on offense for WBU with 23.5 points per game across two victories on the road last week.
Ellis posted 26 points in the Eagles' 84-76 win at Harris-Stowe on Thursday, then scored 21 in WBU's 86-54 win at Mission on Saturday.
The Carthage, Miss. native ranks fourth in the AMC in scoring average this season at 19.9 points per game.
The Lady Eagles are currently riding a seven-game win streak, and sit at a 12-3 overall record and 6-1 in AMC play. WBU will return to the floor on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at Central Baptist. Tipoff against the Mustangs is set for 5:30 p.m. from Conway, Ark.
